album post: "disraeli gears" (1967)
It's been ages since I've made a post but I got the sudden inspiration to write about Cream's Disraeli Gears, released in November 1967.

One of my more frequently shared thoughts on music is the above. Yeah John and Paul wrote almost all of the music that got them on the map in the first place, but when you actually listen to the music, George's songs were the actually really good ones.
I was thinking, "I miss 1960s car songs," and realized I should get back into posting through that thought.
I spent the last half hour going down the rabbit hole that is looking for a functional mid-century kitchen clock on Etsy, and then I realized I should be making this post instead!
After some thought, I have decided that I am going to do write ups for other albums between my posts of The Who's albums. Tonight's album is Axis: Bold as Love by the Jimi Hendrix Experience.
Album number 2 of The Who's discography was released as A Quick One in the UK, and Happy Jack in the US (Decca's name changes strike again!).
As I've stated many times before, The Who is my all-time favorite band. One of my favorite things about them is how much their sound evolved throughout the duration of their career with their original lineup.
